Paul Mitchell - Horsforth Lettings Branch Manager

Born and bred in Yorkshire, my career in lettings started as a property manager in a city based agent after my return from an exciting gap year residing in Canada and travelling around the USA.

With a desire to gain further education, I left my full time role to complete a BA Geography degree at Leeds University in 2009, though continued a part time position with the same agent. As part of my studies I completed a year in industry working for a multinational property consultants in various departments though predominantly residential sales and lettings.

Upon completing my studies I assumed the role of Rentals manager in a large city based agency and building my experience and management skills achieved the position of Regional Manager looking after three offices between Leeds and Manchester. Along side this position I completed my PgDip in Real Estate and property Management from Salford University and am in the process of writing my Dissertation for my MSc.

I joined Linley & Simpson in July 2012 in the role of Branch Manager for the Horsforth office and am responsible for leading a team of 9 staff who collectively manage a diverse portfolio for over 700 clients.

Horsforth and the surrounding area is proving to be a busy and rapidly growing market, with great access to the City Centre via Horsforth station, excellent bus service and Leeds ring road. Increasing numbers of young professionals, couples and families choose to make this area their home due to the excellent schools, great shops, restaurants, bars, bustling high street make Horsforth a great place to live.
