Jon Graham - Ilkley Lettings Branch Manager

I was born in Middlesbrough and brought up in North Yorkshire, before coming to Leeds to study Engineering. I graduated from The University Of Leeds in 2003, and then took some time out to travel. I returned to Leeds a year later taking up a position in accounts with Linley & Simpson as a route into lettings.

Securing a position in lettings at the Horsforth branch, I spent four years gaining experience and learning the industry. I'd say I most enjoy the people aspect of the job - I've been lucky enough to meet people from all walks of life, and have visited properties of all descriptions. It's a very interesting career which I'd recommend to anyone.

Recent changes in economic conditions have dictated a shift in the property market, and in sentiment towards renting. It's an exciting time for lettings with high numbers of properties to let, and plenty of demand from tenants.

With its surrounding natural beauty, thriving town centre of retail outlets, train and bus station; and with its many acclaimed schools, and numerous sports clubs, Ilkley makes a very attractive location for both landlords and tenants alike. I greatly look forward to building business in the town.
