I live and grew up in Harrogate with a brief three years away to study Geography at The University of Sheffield. I always knew I would settle back in the area and, after a short period in retail after returning from Uni, I stepped onto the first rung of the career ladder when the Wetherby Branch of Linley and Simpson opened in October 2004. Starting out as an office based Lettings Negotiator and Property Manager, my knowledge and experience has developed from the ground up and I have progressed through the ranks to Branch Manager.

I chose to study Geography because it is about the real world and this is why I love working in lettings, it is a job involving people and their homes and lives. Nothing is more satisfying than finding a landlord the right tenant, and that tenant their perfect home...and meeting new people and seeing their lovely properties is not a bad way to spend a working day!

Located at the heart of the 'Golden Triangle' of Leeds, York and Harrogate, Wetherby and the surrounding villages have proven to be an ideal base for work and family life. The rental market here remains very buoyant as it offers high quality properties with excellent transport links and access to a diverse range of shops and amenities. I am really looking forward to building on the success of the branch to date with the support of the experienced Wetherby team.
