ILKLEY residential letting specialists Linley & Simpson has unveiled two new recruits and a promotion as it strengthens its team on the back of a record year.

The award-winning independent agency, based on Brook Street, has appointed Josh Mitchell as property manager; Dan Bond as lettings negotiator/administrator; and promoted Vicky Atkinson to the role of out-of-office lettings negotiator.

Branch manager Jon Graham said it heralded the start of a exciting new era for its team: "We are delighted to attract new members of staff of the calibre of Josh and Dan, and to reward Vicky's hard work and quality service with an internal promotion.

"The skills and local knowledge of all three bring an extra dimension to the range of services we offer tenants and landlords alike, and give us a platform to expand the business further as the appeal of rental properties continues to grow.

"Josh, Dan and Vicky's insight and experience of the residential letting sector will help us remain at the forefront of the marketplace, and play a key role in contribution to our future innovation and success."

Linley & Simpson is Yorkshire's largest letting agent. Its eight-branch network is dedicated wholly to renting and in addition to Ilkley also includes offices in Harrogate, York, Wetherby, Wakefield and three in Leeds.

It was this summer crowned best medium sized agent in the North of England at the prestigious "Letting Agency of the Year" awards - following on from its success in another prestigious award scheme, the ESTAs, where it was honoured as Best Small Letting Agent Chain in the UK.
