Real ale lovers will have to get their orders in fast as tickets for the fourth Ilkley Beer Festival go on sale next week.
The popular two-day festival run by Ilkley and District Round Table will make its return to the King’s Hall, Station Road
Tickets for the three festival opening sessions will go on sale on Thursday, December 1.
The festival is the Round Table's biggest fundraising event in aid of local causes, and has raised tens of thousands of pounds to date.
Tickets for past events have sold out within weeks, and the event is also supported by sponsors.
The event attracts around 2,500 people, and plays host to beers from small independent brewers around the country, including several close to home.
This year, say organisers, they are looking at increasing the choice of ciders and perrys on offer.
Drinking sessions will take place from 5.30pm to 11pm Friday, February 10, and Saturday sessions will take place from 11am to 4pm, and 5pm to 11pm.
Tickets are booked for specific sessions. They could be bought by mail order, or from Bar Tat, Cunliffe Road, Ilkley, The Narrow Boat, Victoria Street, Skipton, Coopers, Otley Road, Guiseley, or Veritas, Great George Street, Leeds.
Tickets cost £5 each.
The Round Table is also keen to hear from organisations in the area who feel they could benefit from funds raised.
The proceeds from the beer festivals have been distributed to clubs and organisations including Ilkley Rugby Club, local scouts, Ilkley Stroke Club, the Friends of the Kings Hall, sports clubs, schools and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
All applications will be considered by Ilkley Round Table once the beer festival has taken place and the proceeds have been confirmed.
