New homes development enhances gateway into popular North Yorkshire village

NEW family homes have been built as part of a development designed to improve an important gateway into a North Yorkshire village.


Burridge Homes have breathed new life into the site on the edge of Copt Hewick, near Ripon, by demolishing a number of farm buildings and creating five detached homes in their place.

The existing farmhouse on the site at Corner Farm was retained and incorporated into the overall design of the development.

The properties have now been launched through the Old Market Place, Ripon, office of residential sales and letting agents, Linley & Simpson - and two of them have already been sold. 

The remaining three are all five-bedroom, detached homes priced at £595,000 or £600,000, and will be ready to move into from late Spring 2018.

The collection of new-build homes marks a "home grown" Yorkshire success story for housebuilders Burridge Homes, who linked up with local suppliers and contractors – such as the award-winning York Handmade Brick Company, based at Alne - to turn their design plans into reality.
