The property market in 2016 has seen some big changes, such as the change in stamp duty for buy-to-let and second home owners as well as Brexit, but even with these changes the market has continued to move a long at a good pace.

In the past 10 years I have seen a number of changes and impacts on the property market; thankfully Brexit seems to have done little to dampen the market in York with strong numbers of applicants registering in all price ranges and for all property styles.

York in focus - Clifton Moor

Originally the site of the York Municipal Aerodrome which opened in 1936 and was used during the 2nd world war, Clifton Moor has come a long way!

Positioned to the North West of the City Centre, with a range of property styles, from starter homes to 3 and 4 bedroom family homes and bungalows and well placed for access to the Northern Ring Road Clifton Moor really does have something for everyone. With the added benefit of public transport direct into the City Centre, Clifton Moor also benefits from many local amenities including a number of schools, a library on Rawcliffe Lane and the convenience of larger shops and supermarkets at Clifton Moor.
