LINLEY & Simpson are continuing to support local communities in the areas they operate in by linking up with the Roundhegians rugby club in Moortown.
Last year Linley & Simpson donated funds towards the sponsorship of the club's physios, and this year the business has donated further funds which have been put towards tackle bags for the club to use during training.
Mike Smith, Chairman of Selection at Roundhegians says, "Over the past year it has been a real challenge to sustain the club due to Covid-19 but despite the difficult conditions caused by the pandemic a great deal of progress has been made to improve the facilities to get the club up and running again for next season. We are delighted to have received funding from well-known Letting and Sales agents Linley & Simpson, who have chosen to support us with much needed funding for our physio gear, training balls and tackle bags for the club members to use.
"As we move forward, we are looking for further funding to continue to support our training facilities so that all members will benefit. We are very much dependant on financial support and donations from local businesses and the membership and we are always striving to improve our club facilities for the entire community to enjoy. We wouldn’t be able to make these changes without them."
Steve Kilby, Branch Manager of the Linley & Simpson Roundhay branch says, "We are so pleased to be able to support Roundhegians rugby club which is just down the road from our branch. We know they play a big part in the Roundhay and Moortown community so we are committed to supporting them throughout 2021 which is why we are also offering them our Give Back Scheme. For every new instruction for lettings or sales that comes to Linley & Simpson that is associated with Roundhegians, we will donate £250 back into the club, with the aim of driving as much money back to the club as possible."
