Linley & Simpson – an independent Yorkshire agency in its 21st year - has now been shortlisted in a number of regional and national awards run by the BPA, which will be announced later in the year.
The sales and lettings service offered by the team at Linley & Simpson’s Northgate branch scored highest when personally visited by a team of mystery shoppers and judged against 25 different criteria.
Branch manager Emma Hodgson said: “There is no shortage of quality estate agents across the Wakefield district so to scoop this accolade for a second time is a real credit to the home-grown talent of our team here.
“The awards represent a perfect opportunity to put our customer service to the sternest scrutiny from independent mystery shoppers – who hailed our approach as ‘outstanding’.”
The British Property Awards are one of the most inclusive estate agency awards as there is no entry fee, ensuring maximum participation. On average, over 90% of agents that meet its minimum criteria on a local level are assessed.

As providers of “the most comprehensive” awards in the property sector, the BPA compile a team of experts who judge all agencies which meet a basic criteria within a given town, before selecting which agency has performed outstandingly.
Judging criteria is both comprehensive and detailed, exploring different mediums, scenarios and time periods to ensure agents have been rigorously and fairly judged.
