A LEEDS estate agency is celebrating after being crowned the city centre's best in the British Property Awards.

The sales and lettings service offered by the team at Linley & Simpson's Swinegate branch scored top marks when judged by a team of mystery shoppers.

Branch manager Lauren Sayles said: 'There is no shortage of excellent agents in Leeds city centre, so to scoop this award reflects a tremendous team achievement.'

'We pride ourselves in offering a consistently-high level of service to every client we deal with, whether it be a seller or buyer, landlord or tenant.'

'The awards were an ideal opportunity to put this approach to rigorous scrutiny from independent researchers - and we are thrilled to have won.'

The BPA's Robert McLean said: 'We independently assess estate agents against a set of 25 criteria, most of which is often overlooked by the clients and certainly overlooked before they decide to get in contract with an agent. 'Linley & Simpson came out as the best agents in Leeds city centre due to the fantastic levels of customer service that they have demonstrated over a prolonged period of time.

'They should be proud that their customer service levels provide a benchmark for their local, regional and national competition.'

Linley & Simpson has a network of 16 branches across West and North Yorkshire and its offices in Horsforth, Harrogate, Wakefield also recently struck gold in their BPA judging area.
