THE team at Linley & Simpson Wakefield are working hard to collect as many donations as possible in order to support the Community Awareness Programme in their ambition to create another 1000 Christmas hampers to distribute to deserving families in need across the wider Wakefield area, including Pontefract, Castleford, Hemsworth and South Elmsall.

If you would like to join us by supporting the charity, we would kindly appreciate any donations or unused items. The programme is specifically looking for the below from our business.
  • Sugar
  • Long life milk 
  • Breakfast cereal 
  • Fruit juice
Here's a little bit about the Community Awareness Programme (CAP) in Wakefield
 
CAP aims to help relieve the suffering caused by poverty in the Wakefield area and beyond, and to raise awareness of the problems of those in need in the community, and the work of the Community Awareness Programme. The programme provides a referral system and has access to the following support systems:
 
Practical support - meals, shower, toiletries, clothing, household items, furniture.
Personal and emotional support - friendship, care, advice, a listening ear.
Fresh start - help with employment, benefit applications and more.
Referral to other agencies - child abuse, sexual abuse, marriage, family, debt, anger.
